1. Introduction
Welcome to TangoCabs ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our taxi and tour services in Sri Lanka. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
TangoCabs provides the following services in Sri Lanka:
- Airport transfer services
- City and intercity taxi services
- Tour packages and sightseeing tours
- Vehicle rental with driver services
- Customized travel itineraries
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Booking Process
Bookings can be made through WhatsApp, phone calls, or our website. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from our team.
3.2 Pricing
Prices are quoted in USD and may vary based on distance, duration, vehicle type, and seasonal factors. Final pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking.
3.3 Payment Terms
Payment can be made in cash (USD or LKR) or through agreed digital payment methods. For multi-day tours, a deposit may be required to confirm the booking.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Customer Cancellations
- Cancellations made 24+ hours before service: Full refund of any deposit
- Cancellations made 12-24 hours before service: 50% refund of deposit
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before service: No refund
4.2 Service Provider Cancellations
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your service, we will provide full refund and assist in finding alternative arrangements where possible.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and destination information
- Be ready at the agreed pickup time and location
- Respect the vehicle and driver
- Follow Sri Lankan laws and regulations
- Not engage in illegal activities during the service
- Pay agreed fees in full and on time
6. Liability and Insurance
All our vehicles are insured and our drivers are licensed. However, customers are advised to have their own travel insurance. TangoCabs' liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
We are not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather conditions, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided is accurate.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be resolved through the courts of Sri Lanka.
